Griffith 4.0 litre 250

This car will be auctioned by H & H Classics in Buxton on the 30th July where the guide price will be £11,000 to £13,000 + fees.

The car was registered in December 1992, I bought it in March 1994 when it had had one previous owner.

Its is the 250 variant of the 4.0 litre, so called as the standard power output was upped to 250hp.

It has covered 54,000 miles and is in very original condition. The alarm/immobiliser system is not original, the mild steel exhaust manifold has been replaced by a stainless steel one and the new shockers are a different make to the original. Otherwise the car is pretty much to the original spec. Work done on the car includes replacing the hood, respraying, replacing the dashboard, new front suspension arms and bushes, new front/rear shock absorbers.
