Description

- 2022 Garage R Winns Group private purchase through BHP Imports (now known as JPN)
- I am the 3rd uk owner (both previous owners mid 50's and 40's)
- Long MOT, never had advisories
- Almost new Goodyear Eagle F1 tyres
- Just had major service 900km ago including Plugs, Millers Nanodrive 5w40, Honda MTF3 gearbox oil, Cabin filter, etc. and does not use any oil.
- Rocker cover new wrinkle red and new honda gasket
- I still have the red Recaro type bucket seat that it came with from Japan and this is what is for sale with the car, which will sit on the lowered Recaro seat rail. The brand new black Recaro is only for sale at the right price.

- New headlights (non faded, immaculate, £1k)

- Enkei RPF1 wheels 18" front 17 rear (A common JDM and USA mod, the rear turns in quicker)

- Seeker weighted gear knob
- Uprated gearbox bushings (Cannot confirm if it is the Mugen shifter setup installed)
- 2 keys (one is the all important master key)
- Immaculate interior no steering wheel wear and rare wheel controls for Honda Access navigation unit
- No rust issues - cleaned and undersealed on import via BHP Imports - clear underseal and happy to provide pictures of underneath, arches, door panels, etc.
- Bodywork in good condition, no dents, panel lines are great. Garage stored. Light stone chips on the front bumper, hairline cracks at the bottom the splitter on drivers side and near the head light areas common with aftermarket bumpers, some minor alloy curbing and I think mainly its just the carbon bonnet that lets it down and needs a recoat from stone chips and some poor repairs.
- Overall I think a clean, honest example with a vast JDM service history, original Japan Toll reader and JDM Flare still installed.
- The previous owner believed it to be the only Ings-kitted car in the UK.
- A future classic, now rare in Japan as the good ones are few and far between.
- Still reads in KMH (proves genuine mileage and was never converted). I'm told it still has the original JDM speed restrictor but I haven't tested this as I haven't been on track with it.
- Car does have isofix for anyone wondering
- 135373 km (84210 miles) which will rise with good weather evening and weekends
- There are 2 extensive YouTube adverts for the car when it was for sale in Japan that I can send links to as I am not allowed to post them in the advert, along with the Facebook posts when it was originally imported by well known importers BHP/JPN in 2022.
Genuine reason for sale. I adore the looks, rarity factor and raw drive but have realised that after almost 15 years in DC2 Turbos, S2000's, DC5's, etc. that I have scratched the Honda itch and would rathers sell this and buy the wife and I a camper so we can enjoy long weekends away with our young boys next year.
Happy to take pictures of each service interval from the paperwork, and any close up pictures for those travelling from afar.
The only other niggles to mention is the water temp gauge can play up - the connector to the main unit under the drivers side pedal area is a little loose so I just need to resolve that.
No time wasters please. Yes I know the car is worth an awful lot more putting back to standard and selling the parts but as per the previous owners, I would like to keep the car as close to as it was in Japan
The Brand new genuine Recaro SR-S BK100 BK/BK drivers seat is only a few weeks old and is not included in the price as these are £1100 (at least) imported brand new. I also have a Mugen steering wheel and HKB boss arriving from Japan shortly which can go with the car if desired.
