2005 PORSCHE 911

This Porsche 996 Carrera 4S Cabriolet with manual transmission is a lovely example. Finished in Basalt Black Metallic with Turbo-Look wheels, it's a great-looking car, and being a rare 2005 example, it is one of the very last 996s.

The black leather interior has been beautifully retrimmed with black and white Houndstooth fabric to the front seats and door cars, which is a nod to Porsches of old, and is perfectly complemented by a wooden Built By Basil gearknob that is a joy to handle. The steering wheel and gearstick gaitor have been professionally retrimmed in Alcantara by Royal Steering Wheels. Another worthwhile (and expensive) upgrade is a genuine Porsche Classic Communication Management (PCCM) which updates the sound system with Apple CarPlay/Android and DAB radio. Other options include fully electric seats with driver's memory, heated seats, rear Park Assist, and a Tracker.

The service history goes right back to the original sales documents, and there is a large folder of invoices showing that the Porsche has been well maintained, regardless of cost. For example, in 2020, the car had a new clutch, suspension overhaul and various other jobs at a cost of over £4700. The car had a major service with spark plugs in March 2025 at 76,500 miles, and the mileage is now 79,000. Being a very late 996, it has two-year service intervals.
