1989 (31st dec) (G registrations) tvr s1.5 - a known administration change over stage during s1 / s2 transition, some features of the 280 but the better later engine & dash of a 290 (2.9efi v6) 5 speed type 9 gearbox. The cars chasis no & engine no are all matching & it's totally original.

Bodywork very good not much to moan about, the bonnet could possibly be aligned a little better but there's a lot of info on how to do this correctly & tvr club also very helpful.

Engineer owned but we have now got 2 toddlers & just bought our dream home, it's time to move it on after 2.5 years of having this little beast! The sound it makes in intoxicating, I once went to buy a new generation mustang v8 & I could not justify it after jumping back in this much cheaper more efficient car later that day!

It does around 35mpg.

Covers/bags for the targa roof panels.

Garages all its life until about 1 month ago where i brought it over to our new home where I haven't yet built a garage for it to live in & i don't see that happening for another year or so, so I'm seeing what interest I get in it!

The car has been well set up by combes near Tewkesbury & mots have been carried out by lichfield tuning.

Too much to mention really! It's too good to miss for what i think is sensible money, it's more entertaining than most roasters, i had a porsche boxster before this & i was so disappointed with it i only kept that around 3 to 4 months.

Reluctant sale of this true British sports car with real performance which wouldn't be disappointing by anybodies standards.

Id be looking at £8000 for the car not really interested in swaps due to the garage situation & I've recently started a tractor restoration aswell as building a workshop, simply won't have the time to use this thinking with my head & not my heart.

Decent box of spares & manuals to come with the car along with comprehensive service & repair history neatly filed in several folders.

Odometer reads 32820 but there was a clock change official & documented half way through its life which is backed up with paperwork & history also. It's quite common on these cars but you need to ensure the mileage tots up over the years!

It is on the original chasis but has been well treated all its life & lived a sheltered life also!
