When you jump into a 90’s JDM car with AWD and a turbo you know your in for a treat whether its standard or enhanced. But when someone owns a car for 20 years as their dream childhood car and then proceeds to upgrade it for track use with little expense spared, you know it’s going to be close to epic. The owner of this Mitsubishi Evo VI has done just that. Over the years all aspects of the cars performance have been improved resulting in a bit of a track weapon whilst remaining useable on the road, although it’s been a track only car for nearly a decade. Despite its 2.3 stroker engine producing 550bhp and 500lbft it can be driven pretty easy on the road and it feels reasonably comfortable. This example was imported and sold by Ralliart UK to a customer rather than being a grey import. The car has spent most of its life as part of the Mitsubishi Lancer Register and is quite well known. Considering the owner tells us it’s never had paint or damage the original metallic blue has faired well with just some gravel rash on the front end and the odd age-related mark. This is a great opportunity to buy an iconic car in a great spec as they are getting rarer as the years go on. Not long having had an MOT, the car is ready to use on the road and track. The car could easily be converted to Tarmac Rally spec or used for hill climbing and sprinting.
