Description
Now available is the highly desirable Manual Ferrari 575 M Maranello, finished in Tour De France Blue with Sabbia and Blue Scuro leather interior.
Despite having a very comparable appearance to the 550, the 575 had some substantial changes made, hence being called the 'M' (Modificato or Modified). Most notable was the cars larger engine which was now 5.75 Litres meaning the car was more powerful and produced 510 horsepower. This was accompanied by other mechanical changes such as bigger brake discs, revised aerodynamics, improved weight distribution and an adaptive suspension set up. Other changes included a renewed interior styling, different steering wheel, digital fuel gauge and changes to the trim layout.
Unlike the 550 the 575 was available with the option of a manual or F1 transmission and this was in fact the first production V12 Ferrari to feature the F1 gearbox option. With this new generation of technology in a road car, the F1 gearbox became increasingly popular due to its ability of both manual and automatic modes, thus meaning that very few cars were specified with the conventional manual gearbox. A worldwide total of 1,818 were built with the F1 transmission and just 246 were specified with manual and only 69 were for the UK market. With many manual examples now exported to other RHD countries it is likely that there are very few left in the UK making this an incredibly rare car. #
This car features Rosso brake callipers, Scuderia shields, Nero Rev counter and fully electric seats.
This 575 is presented today in excellent condition and comes with its original leather book pack, servicebook, handbooks, torch, toolkit, car cover and is accompanied by an outstanding service history. The car has been prepared to a high standard and is ready for its new owner.
