My bum is numb. My leg and knee hurts. My arms are stiff. My hair covered in muck. I'm tired. And I'm bloody glad I managed to sort the car out this morn make it to the pub. Shame I couldn't convoy down with you tho.

Some pictures:

That last one is spoiled by a rain droplet on the lens The picture is also missing Byff and his Cerbera.

Great day, tiring, and embarrasing (I did a Tom and left the fuel cap in the car park )... Great day, I have a couple of movies, but they aren't much use...

I loved going through the villages, virtually everyone stopped and looked at the TVR's, Fiat (ahem) and the Marlin.

Thanks Bob for organising the day, how about the next one heads up towards Keilder? Or towards the lake district?

Keilder sounds good. I have no idea how the roads drive in Keilder forest. Has anyone driven those roads? We'd need food and maybe an icecream stop.

Is it possible to include a visit to Holy Island? Never been there, just thought it sounded interesting and we know our cars work in the wet now!

Just a shame I had to leave, really wanted to do the second leg. On the way out, I tried to get a photo of the cars lined up outside the Lion Inn, but a feckin Freelander had parked right infront of everyone.

We've done a few runs around Kielder on the bikes, there are some great roads. We went on a great route last April, but I was just following the bike in front. I'll get the details from my mate who planned it, and we can modify it from there.

Actually I'm assuming that great bike roads are also great car roads. If anyone wants to correct me, feel free.

If the roads a great bike road it will make a great Elise road, possibly not a great TVR road, but I'm sure we can all give it a go!

It's us crossing a roundabout and leaving a junction. I wish Teemu had left the camera running for a bit, but it's all good.

Ain't nothing wrong with Carlisle. I lived there for 3 years up in Etterby Lea Grove. Actually back there in a couple of weeks.

Minimax managed to keep up in his Seciento, so I cant see any problems with a Clio. He even overtook the Wedge.

I was there on saturday evening. Would you beleive it took me three major cumbrian towns to get two pairs of trainers and a bikini, and still couldn't get a pair of shorts for Mat because neither Asda nor Tesco deem it necessary to sell blokes stuff?!

For good roads, you cannot beat the lakes... the sight of a subaru, followed by a porche, with a diesel golf trying to keep up was quite amusing, especially when sat nav got us lost!

That's the idea. Jump from car to car so we get a movie from varying perspectives.
