Seriously, she is.

This weekend I'll be treated to tea at The Dorchester, a fast ride on the Thames rib, dinner at the Oxo Tower and a posh hotel for the night.

Not sure what to expect from either venue, any suggestons on what to try?......oh, and if either are rubbish, don't tell me as I'm looking forward to it hehe

The Oxo is alright.

Avoid the sweetcorn.

Well, a chivalrous chap would reciprocate the offer to Mrs G.

It's only wrong if you fight it.

Anyway, despite appearances it was a genuine question. Promise...

Don't ban me, it's a serious quesion, but the fact that she found it amusing for us to be visiting there only goes to show that she reads PH too often.

So, any menu suggestions (seriously)

Thank you, at last a sensible answer smile

Great to hear. I assume the tea is a 'set menu' affair?

They bring you a selection of finger sandwiches, then scones and jam, then French pastries and Tea or Coffee.

No, The Dorchester.
You had better get a room first, they frown upon that kind of thing in the dining room

From what I understand of 'tea at the Dorchester', you won't be needing a meal up the Oxo tower - too many cakes and sarnies.
