A fat Samuel Jackson appears to be on stage dressed as a Catholic priest.

Touching of the local gang bangers to call a truce today.

Am shocked to see Sky News showing this live as "news".

More troubling is why I'm still watching. Tell me later how it finishes.

Its very loud, with the congregation throwing their hands in the air at random. A bit like Whitney at her best.

I think i'd love that programme if it involved 'taking people out' with high powered rifles.

Does it warrant live coverage?

Live coverage is not only unneccessary it's an ironic misnomer. Then again, I expect nothing more of the news channels so I was neither surprised nor disappointed.

I watched Marco Simonchelli's funeral live because I wanted to, I bet there are more Whitney fans out there so probably, yes.

Indeed - in this day and age why wouldn't it warrant live coverage?

Or would you prefer a highlights package come 11pm tonight?

I prefer Match of the Day to a live match so highlights are fine smile

It's a fair point.

You'll still get all the good bits.

I note that Aretha Franklin coulnd't sing due to illness, so the congregation was left with Kevin Costner.
