I've seen the trailers and it looks good.
I just have a nagging feeling once they have the first 2 episodes with the initial What/How the blackouts occurred, the series will stall and try and become a new 'LOST'. Where they draaaaaaag out ever non-story and dead end conceivable

Hopefully at 9pm after the Gadget Show. Glad it's not Thursdays as that is weekend-warm-up beer evening smile

I've flashed forward and already seen the first episode, which was OK'ish but noting spectacular. Let's hope that the series develops to live up to the hype.

i just hope it's not gonna be a 18 series long 'Lost' type affair where nothing really happens for ages then something good happens etc....

Er! confused

What's with the Kangaroo?
I don't think that much devastation will happen in traffic traveling at 20mph in traffic.

Still, give it a go.

Eta; why was big ben (the clock) on fire?!

I'm already too involved.

First thing i did was see the Oceanic banner, then i looked up verses 2:17 from verious entries in the bible:

John 2:17
The world and its desires pass away, but the man who does the will of God lives forever.

Not particularly interesting, but the 'cross reference' to this verse is:

1 Corinthians 7:31 and those who use the world, as though they did not make full use of it; for the form of this world is passing away.

I fear it will be another 'we are killing the planet' shows.

It seems to be swinging between inspired and complete and utter gash.

Although as it is a new show the network weren't going to give a huge budget for effects and CGI, the acting seems pretty poor as well.

Lastly were's Kumar?
