So with about 24hrs till this years song fest kicks off are there any fave's with the PH posses?

I've not heard any of the songs apart from the surprisingly poor UK entry so no idea who could win.

Huh? Wait, what?

Ever since El Tel went, this has completely dropped off my 'yay, fun/silly stuff to watch' radar.

Still if I am bored with playing computer games on Saturday I may give it an idle moment or two. I recall the UK entry being a very insipid beige Pete Waterman effort, which if I were a betting person I may have a flutter on it to lose fairly spectacularly.

...then again maybe the eastern bloc is too skint to pay for another one of these and might just rig the vote for us to win just to be spiteful. scratchchinhehe

Will be watching both semis and the final. Must admit I haven't heard any of the other entries. Our singer (Josh) is a very good singer. I have seen him live on stage when he has appeared at our Radio Station's events. I do think our song is poor though. Not Josh's fault, it is IMHO just a weak song. Compare it to last years winner and you can tell the difference.

Ooh, it's bad isn't it?

All taken too seriously by the bird interviewing and the presenter is just a wannabe. hehe

Dear, oh dear...

Is that bad on the Eurovision Good-bad ratio or bad on the normal music ratio?

Bad bad on any scale! hehe

Edited to add: The UK entry is the blandest thing on the menu. If beige was a song then this is true magnolia with pale cream lowlights. yuck

Quite liked the German birds ditty though.

sarah cawood is worse than fearne cotton.

And i thought cotton was the most annoying, vacuous person on the planet.

Don't think i can stomach the main event if she's going to pop up with more non-input.

Didn't know that the Australians realised Eurovision existed, it appears to have a cult following over here. We watched a program about the A-Z of Eurovision last Saturday. Don't know if the live contest is shown, if it is it will be Sunday morning.
Have listened to the UK entry online and to say that I'm not very impressed is putting it mildly.

Now that we don't have Wogan ripping the urine out of the contestants it is not worth the effort.

Exactly. This was the only reason i watched it previously.

Well, that and having translated subtitles on so you can read what all the foreign songs are going on about...

Enjoyed Eurovision last year as with pistonheads reading posts whilst watching the show was comedy gold. I can highly recommend it.
