He was on Michael Mcintyre's Comedy Roadshow on BBC1 and his show on Channel 4 started just after that finished. He did the same routine on both shows.
Ahh. I think that may have been it. Mrs Doofus watched Michael Macintyre whilst I arsed about on my laptop, and then she wandered off somewhere and I turned over to C4 and heard the same stuff again. So I'm not (entirely) bonkers then! Yay!

the "dislocated hip" bit of the show always makes me wince in pain, and I've watched the show a few times now
Nasty isn't it!Love Jason Manford, going to his Tour later this year.. I think, its new stuff.
He's also quite good on Twitter, you never realise how much they have to work, usually Tweets about just getting home and its about 1-2am and is up early because his wife has just had twins so up with them.
I didn't think hje was right for The One Show anyway. He's too "frivolous" i.e. he couldn't handle the mood changes trequired for the lightweight stuff and the sometimes fairly heavyweight stuff that The One Show can switch between quite rapidly.
The old pairing of Bleakely and Chiles was able to handle these rapid mood changes better - she the jolly, smiley one, he the grumpy, serious one.
