Oh dear. I quite liked his Blackbird as well. Interesting to see how the Beeb deal with this one - I suspect P45.

This isn't really an anti BBC story, though, is it? It's an amusing and mildly ironic situation, and very bad news for the individual concerned, but only on PH and in the Daily Mail is the BBC open for attack here, surely? They're even quite prominently reporting the story, presumably in recognition of the likely public and potential media interest.
The individual concerned is an idiot, isn't he? Send him down.

Can we have an episode where the smug t
t who presents the show turns up at the Director General's house and starts gobbing off about how the BBC are ripping off little old lady tax payers? And will the DG shout "no comment" whilst clambering into a new transit, covering his face with a copy of yesterday's Sun, then wheelspinning off to his next victim?

Egg - Face - Beeb.
Is an employer responsible for the activity of one of their staff outside of ofice hours? Not normally.![hehe](/inc/images/hehe.gif)

I wouldn't be surprised if he isn't even an employee of the organisation anyway.
It would be hypocritical if they continued to use him. I'm sure he'll be out the door pretty sharpish.
Is there anyone who is NOT on the fiddle?
It really should be no surprise that the UK is haemorrhaging public money – BBC employee’s, lefty entertainers joke about nasty right wing tax avoidance while doing the exact same themselves, and now BBC ‘personalities’ are found to be fiddling the welfare!
I feel as though I am doing something wrong, as I don’t avoid tax and have never claimed benefit! Perhaps I should try it and then pretend I am morally appalled by others that do the same!

I worked with a fellow accountant who was done for fraud. That doesn't make the employer who employed him at the time responsible.
