One of the guys in the office is gutted. He's got Zsa Zsa Gabor in the deadpool, and was hoping she's pop off first. He's now £405 down. hehe

Smiler.

I loved The Persuaders. It's a shame that none of the channels like Dave have repeated it, as far as I know.

They trotted it out on Hallmark (I think), a couple of years back. I loved it when I was a kid, and really looked forward to seeing it again, but alas, like The Champions and The Saint, it was ste.

Which does goes to show what an uncritical lad I was aged 11.

But RIP Tony, you were great. Never bettered in Some Like it Hot, The Great Race, and Monte Carlo or Bust. We'll not mention The Black Shield of Falworth though, shall we?

I thought that might happen! Perhaps it's best not to see it. I'll stick to the intro on Youtube.

And Spartacus both with Kirk Douglas, who's still around.

Never found out if that was (as I suspect) an urban Legend.

Love him in Some Like It Hot (a classic), but he was never better than when in Sweet Smell of Success ... a much better film to be honest.
