The world seems to be split into two types of keyholders.

There are those that like their keyring to be minimalistic (best piccie I could find on google images...)

...and then there are those that want every key in the whole wide world to be attached to one solitary "forever friends" fluffy key chain

My money is on this being a gender split as my wife seems to have a small branch of Timpsons hanging from hers and most of them seem to be house keys that I don't recognise! eek As a man I can see no benefit in carrying all my keys with me as it'll just make an unsightly bulge in my trouser pocket which will make civilised conversation difficult with my neighbours.

What camp do you fall into?

Or do you rebel completely against this keyring tyranny and carry round your keys in a loose and free spirited manner? hippy

I have my house key, my work locker key, a bottle opener and my blood donor's ID keyring all on the same loop. I don't think that's too many but they do get tangled occasionally. I do sometimes have to use them all on a night out as well.

Two keyrings; house-keys on one and car-keys on another in different pockets. That way if you lose a set, you'll either be able to get home or get into home. To complete this idiot proof strategy keep a spare set of car-keys in the house and a spare set of house-keys in the car. It cannot fail...

Maybe if they were tighter, you wouldn't lose them....

I have a key for each of my 2 cars, the 2 keys for my house, 1 key for my parents house and 1 key for my shed, plus a 2GB USB drive. It's just about manageable but any more and I'd struggle to fit them in my pocket without it looking like I have an even more massive erection than normal.

I have:
2 front door keys (normal lock and dead-lock)
2 back door keys (central lock and bolt locks)
1 Back gate key
1 Locker key
1 Car key
and a fold away cpr mask just incase I find someone in the street who needs resuscitation but I dont fancy mouth to mouth.

It is too many keys, but unfortunately I need to have all of them as they are all keys I use on a regular basis.

I think the trick is to only ever carry the keys you're likely to need.

I have 3 bunches, house, car and office. I generally only ever need one or two of the bunches.

I always need my house keys so that's the bunch that has a bottle opener attached.

The other trick is to never been scared of kicking a window or a door in if you haven't got the right bunch :-)

I have not come across those. Does that have you address on it? I don't think I would be happy having my address on my keys, because if someone finds them they know exactly where to go to rob a house without even having to break a window.
