Not a big regular lounge poster But whats up with all the Animal threads, poor bunny threads, Look at my pet threads, its cat everyday thread, what pet threads etc...

Seems to be a huge amount of animal intrest

Don't get me wrong I got some tropical fish and my girls have to guinea pigs but not that I want to start a :
"Guess the bread of my fish"
"name my fish"
"can I thrown my guinea pigs donw the loo, when dead" thread


Seems we are a country of animal lovers, and becoming a PH of animal lovers

Looking forward to the love and enjoyable comments to follow

Most animal threads are started because people want genuine advice/ help. The dog and cat pics are generally just fun, petsare important in many peoples lives and it is nice to share. I enjoy the threads but then that's probably because I'm a veterinary nurse

I've found myself in a spot of hot water before when posting on the subject of animals.

I'd like to say at this point that I love all God's creatures great and small as much as my own children. As such I believe that 'the animals' are our future.

Hence PH animal (and particularly cat lovers) there is no need to froth at the mouth or call me a ''. -Any more than is strictly necessary.

I really don't understand admin's reluctance to start a dedicated pets forum. Every time I look at the Lounge a third are pinned threads and another third are "post pics of your albatross"
