Fat burning products?
Discussion
Are we talking 'weight-loss aids' like thermogenics....diet pills etc?
Do they work? Yes, if the diet that the person is following is optimal for weight loss. If you are not at a calorific deficit at the end of the day then nothing will 'work'. They are to boost the effects of the diet, not to replace them.
'Love handles' suggest the fat deposits around your kidneys. Since there is no such thing as spot fat reduction , this will just depend on how lean you are. If you lean out, the love handles will start to go.

I've tried most of the legal ones, but bottom line it does comes down to getting out there and exercising regularly and eating correctly.
Need to define your goals of what you are looking to achieve and more importantly how you can do this. Most people will join a gym and give up shortly after as this isn't something they (or most people) enjoy doing.
If weight loss and getting rid of the handles is most important to you then finding an activity that you do enjoy is key. Mixing this with weight loss products just increases the results slightly.
Small changes can make a big difference, not buying beer or booze during the week, swapping crisps for apples, switching to diet drinks, cycling to work, or swimming/cycling after work - any or all of these activities result in a net reduction of daily calories.
If you find hunger to be a real issue then some of the products can reduce the feeling of hunger and off-set the lethargy for the reduced calories.
If you feel you need supplements, then start with hydroxcut and then try other products - some may make you jittery, others a bit itchy etc, - Its really a case of finding one that works for you.
But as I said these won't help with out a good diet and exercise.

Well I've lost weight recently by cutting back on sugary stuff etc coupled with bootcamp 2x a week, jog 1x a week, Brutal 10k runs every few months etc. Result is moving to L sizes rather than XL. Can fit in to a lot of M's too. Thing is though that it seems that I've just shrunk down in size (rather than got leaner) so I still carry some flab in the usual places? Just looking for ideas to finally get shot of it ...

Its not just about losing weight, you need to think about changing the composition of your body. You want to make what weight you have 'LBM' , lean body mass. This means resistance training of some kind. Having more muscle on your frame is like giving a car an engine transplant. Even on tick-over, a V12 will burn more fuel (calories) than a 4-pot on tick-over. This is what you need to do. TX.
If you just rely on diet and cardio-based exercise you will simply become 'skinny-fat' ......which sounds alot like the "I've just shrunk down in size (rather than got leaner)" you just said.
Runs and Bootcamps aren't going to cut it I'm afraid. You need to start picking up and putting down heavy things.

I tried those Grenade pills that come in a daft plastic Grenade (hohoho)
They do work, but you'll feel f*cking awful while on them.
"Ingredients: Green Tea, Bitter Orange Peel, Caffeine, Cayenne, Phenylalanine, Green Coffee, Magnesium Stearate, Gelatin Capsule, (Purified Water, Colours: E133, E102 & E129), Titanium Dioxide." They do work, but you'll feel f*cking awful while on them.

It doesn't have to be huge weights, some dumbbells at home with push ups etc is a great place to start IMO
Yep, standard stuff.
You will be approaching the plateau of the law of diminishing returns soon.
You need to get Myogenic and Neurogenic muscle tone (google them). It's the firmess of muscle - contractile unit density + motor-neuron control - basically muscle "solidity" at rest and when contracting. It helps burning calories and will help fill the gaps in baggy skin.
This is best achieved by training with high weight at low reps and best results are in a Whole Body Approach (WBA) capacity - work all muscles in this way.

1 Chest-eze, 3 Proplus and an Aspirin combo.
I can appreciate what the caffeine does but what does chest-eze and aspirin do?
Btw at OP caffeine as well as making you more energetic increased the amount of energy derived from fat when you exercise. It will help.
If doing an ECA Stack, just buy Ephedrine. Chesteze is an expensive way of doing it.
My advice is not to do an ECA stack though - it will work but you may get irritable, depressed and have sleepless nights.
It's a bit like taking speed. It will make your appetite go and will increase your heart rate but at the cost of the above side effects.

Haha, yeah.I ran the idea by a few folk 'in the know' before going ahead with them, and went in with my eyes open - i.e. get the diet right, put the work in etc and honestly I do think they work (was on a kind of 'cut' for my holidays - came back after two weeks heavy drinking, eating, and no work outs still 11%BF - Christ knows what I was before leaving) but....
...would I do them again?
Would I f*ck.
Least not until the experience is far enough away in my memory to have forgotten how awful they are.
I would have to say, I believe that it has worked for me- ever so slightly.
I am 5'6" and weighed 12stone. My BMI was around 26.1 and body fat % was 24%.
I play football twice weekly and like to go on the odd cycle on my road bike- when I do its usually around the 50mile distance and do this generally once every two weeks. I eat fairly decent, like the odd chocolate bar and drink one hell of a lot of fizzy juice (always diet/sugar free but still doesnt help).
I Bought thermopure from myprotein.com and also bought caffeine pro.
I take two thermopure on an empty stomach and one caffeine prior to exercise. Without doubt the biggest change Ive noticed is how much harder I am working. It is night and day.
Over a 6 week period I am down to 11st 6lbs. My BMI is now 24.8 and body fat % is 20%.
I still have a bit of work to do as I want to be around 11st 2lbs. I want the body fat to drop to around 17-18%.
At that point I will do a little less cardio and lot more resistance work.
so in short- they will supplement a good diet and workout plan.

I've used 'Grenade' tablets as well. They do work, but you'll feel f*cking awful while on them.
They really do work but Jesus... You know about it!
Sweating
Hyperactive
Dry mouth
Insomnia
Not fun! But they get the job done
The other really good ones are 'Stack' or Stacker ablets, a few people I know have used them and lost a fair bit when combined with diet and exercise.

Just to expand on my above post, I would say that 'fat burning tablets' are generally difficult to take due to the sheer impracticality of the side effects.
Losing weight is great but not when you spend your days sweating through your work shirt, having headaches, feeling too hot, feeling dehydrated and unable to sleep at nights!
You kind of tire of them very quickly.,.
