Anyone going to have a weight loss New Year's Resolution?
Discussion
Here's the 30 day plan. (Let's face it - most NYRs only last 30 days.
)
Breakfast: plain piece of toast
Lunch: chicken or ham sandwich with two slices of bread; can insert lettuce, no mayo or butter
Dinner: one medium doner kebab with chilli sauce
Drinks: only water, black tea (no sugar, milk), black coffee (no sugar, milk), no juice, no colas (diet varieties permitted)
Snacks: none
Exercise: if you already exercise or play sport, then keep doing it. If you don't do anything, then 30 minutes walk 3 times a week.
Let's see if you don't lose weight.
Warning: you'll probably feel s
t and hate it. You'll certainly hate kebabs. Also, I'm no medic so best not follow my advice.
So, who's in?

Weight gain is the aim. I'll continue doing what I was doing- oats, milk & whey only through the day, then a normal meal at tea time. Then eggs, milk and oats before bed.
Sounds good - I've decided to increase my calorie intake and attempt to bulk. Gonna aim for 10-15% more than I need and see how I get on come March.I suppose I could just bulk by eating TWO doner kebabs a day but I would rather not.

Clean foods = clean gains. Seem to be gaining weight with very little fat, no IF in sight either ![wink](/inc/images/wink.gif)
Yes, that's my plan - eat relatively clean, eat just over TDEE. Since I'm now looking to bulk, I'll drop the IF. I can use IF as a tool later on if I'm not happy with fat I may be collecting.![wink](/inc/images/wink.gif)
Perhaps I'll use Intermittent Fasting intermittently.

I'll keep trying to eat more healthily when I get the choice, just like I have been doing. It's not a resolution as such.
Can't do your suggested plan for assorted reasons though - why that in particular? It's very specific. Don't think many people could eat the same menu every day for 30 days.

Probably try and gain another 3 kg of lean mass and try not go below 5% BF (at 6% now). I've go another 1/2 months of winter training in the gym before tennis & basketball season starts where I'll need to eat like a horse to put on weight.
Currently got some honey glazed pork loin sizzling away under the grill for my bedtime protein snack![lick](/inc/images/lick.gif)

Just to prove once and for all that you can lose weight eating doner kebabs. If someone is willing to try a similarly awful diet, I'll do some research and put together a more varied way of Hoofy said:

Managed it with liquid cream cake consumption rather than kebabs & a variation of a fasting diet as opposed to daily consumption of filth
