I'm as I was when it started. Find it very difficult to put on weight.

5lbs here, prompting first ever visit to this part of the forum! Will add that the gain is onto a post-flu weight, so probably only about 2lbs in reality. Still feel like crap though.

Marrying in 15 months - 2011 WILL be a healthy year!

Nothing; kept up my training regime (probably did a bit more due to extra spare time). Didn't stuff myself on Christmas day - just ate enough until I was full.

Pre-flu, 12st 9lb. Flu = 12st 6lb. Now almost recovered, 12st 10lb. In reality, a pound. Could do with dropping back to 12 1/2 stone though - felt thinner even though it was hardly any difference in weight.

Amateurs... I put on 9lbs! I do now feel the size of a house. A combination of icy weather affecting my marathon training and too many Xmas parties. No booze for Jan; I reckon I can drop it by Feb then crack on to my ideal race weight for May.

Was surprised to find out this morning that it was only 1lb! Due to snow and the season my exercise regime was firmly flung out of the window frown The fact I haven't actually lost what I put on in my October holiday is by the by....

4 weeks to the annual ski trip, yes I am getting straight back into it (tomorrow.....)

I don't mean to pick on you but why is the snow going to stop you exercising? Crunches, push ups (knee ones if you can't manage proper ones), burpees, jogging on the spot, 1000 front kicks while listening to the radio or watching TV... or even that dusty Davina exercise DVD you bought in 2007.

I lost 3kG thanks to a flu dose that meant I've virtually eaten nowt! I might try to carry on with this into 2011 & see if I can drop more off. Still feeling crap though, so even DIY as a from of exercise is patchy!

-3 kg due to flu, still got a bad chest though. I'm still off alcohol as this will not help any recovery apparently..

You have a point. One I actually actioned on today.... Went to go for a swim, pool shut, decided to go for run, started to sleet so thought sod it and spent 50 minutes on the wii fit doing pretty much all, and more, of your above mentioned activities.

Had forgotten how patronising it can be, but it genuinely gives you a good muscle/toning work out, with a bit of aerobic.

I've lost 9 lbs due to trekking in remote southern Morocco over Christmas. 10 days in the wilderness (no alcohol.)

It was hard physical work climbing mountains and scrambling over boulder-strewn river beds, but I feel so much better for it.

My arms and legs (which were firm already due to competitive swimming as a teenager) are now like iron.
