There only looks like 1 winner to me given RB and Vettel's current form. Wouldn't mind him getting a DNF and an Alonso win just to make it a little bit more interesting in title terms. I can dream.

I'll take:

Quali
Vettel
Hamilton
Rosberg

Race
Vettel
Kimi
Webber

With a strong showing from Sauber.

I think the RB is going to be awesome through the Ss.

I love the new predictions format! hehe

And I always look forward to this race, partly because Suzuka is my second favourite track on Forza

Alonso starting the mind games with Raikkonen very early on now:

says more about Alonso than anything IMO

Can't see a problem with what he's said. Out of 3 seasons they were teammates Kimi finished 16 points ahead of Massa in the first, Massa finished 22 points in ahead in the second, in the final season Massa was on 22 to Kimi's 10 when he was hit by the spring leading to him sitting out the remainder of the season.

Maybe it's Benson's twisting of words and spouting verbal diarrhea that you (and myself) have a problem with.

I shall watch... Not least that it is an amazing circuit, but mostly because I can enjoy a race even if P1 is favoured to one driver.

P2 onwards should be good.

And there is always the chance of rain?

Looking forward to seeing how the Saubers perform again - will they outdo the Mercs again?

If there isn't a safety car ( and Vettel therefore gets a 'clear' race) it'll be interesting to see by how much he wins - I can't see anyone getting close...

Saubers not seeming to like the harder tyres in use thise weekend? too early to say IMHO but worth keeping an eye on.

I turned on to see a Williams hanging from a crane and then quite a big whack for Perez.

Didn't think this was appropriate for the RIP thread...

Rather dissapointed my Simon Lazenby's handling of the news about Maria on SKY F1 Coverage, far too flippant, Suzie Wolfe looked geniunely upset and Lazenby just rolled onto the next item- the mans a fool. SKY in general are doing a good job but he is seriously letting them down, seasons nearly over, time for them to get the boot out and have him off IMO.

I thought it was good to see so much spinning and sliding- more please! That said it does make me chuckle when they ask Hamilton (in this case) about being fastest in practice as the times are largely meaningless, we all know Ferrari, Red Bull etc won't give the drivers 100% till Qual1 and the full Mil-Spec power till final Qual. It makes the journo's look so childish, you can see it on the Drivers faces ("This question, Again?"

Still on page one of the thread hours after both free practice sessions. Lack of interest in this one?

I think the timing is against contribution - I have seen the results for FP1/2 but not yet watched them, so other than the sad news, there isn't much to comment on with regards to the standings on day 1 of the weekend?

No big surprises, no driver announcements...

... whats the weather forecast like?

From checking Twitter a few offs. .

Perez, Bianchi and Pastor all binned it, the latter twice.
Jev and grosjean also had offs but didn't do damage.

Degners doing their thing it seems.

Let's keep it a silent protest then eh? Leave this thread for people who do want to watch it instead of dragging it down with negativity.

I am definitely looking forward to it, a fantastic circuit and always a great race. I don't care who wins.
