M12DAN needed something faster to escape welshbeef, 100mph over takes on the hard shoulder and through town centers was not quick enough to shake him off.

I always thought at GT3 level these cars are bought from Ferrari direct as factory built racers. Engines, chassis etc have serial numbers and everything is recorded for lifing purposes and rebuilds history so not really possible to turn up at any "official/high level" series with it or send bits to be rebuilt by "official/reputable" companies or the manufacturers.

But maybe some s just saw a nice trailer coupled to something flash and fancied it and are now figuring out wtf to do with it.

Somewhere in eastern Europe, a man in a shed is tube welding a chassis from old scaffolding poles for his 430 replica, complete with genuine GT3 engine.

Well unless he was followed from when he loaded it up to the hotel, they were probably just after the trailer. Would of been a nice bonus to have a Ferrari in the back(Unless the trailer was all stickered up).

I would imagine it's in the back of a container on its way to Eastern Europe or China by now.

Assuming the photo of the trailer is accurate, i.e. no stickers to give away what's in it, that's what I am going for.

The market for a stolen race car must be tiny, whereas the market for stolen trailers is massive. They are probably working out what the hell they are going to do know they now theres going to be a lot of people looking for the car.

I was the Optician's sideline, 'Vision Control', based at Aston Fields, then moved when Phil sold out, shacking up with 360.

I remember enjoying a track day with Phil at brands in his old 360 Challenge car before he entered the GTs.

Small world indeed.
