What a fking mug. Range Rover make great cars for people with no interest in off roading (or driving).

original RRS and D3/D4 share a heck of a lot of their drive train and undercarriage

if nothing else it;s a demonstration thast all the whistles and bells can't work if you don;t have suitable tyres ( as once the tread is full of mud / slush / whatever it's a slick

Do at least have to give him that credit, I agree. But think he might have been better off doing some research before taking it off-roading!

Ooh, that looks to be a painfully expensive mistake.

But I'd much rather someone tried something unwise like this than spent years driving the things around central London. 10/10 for enthusiasm, 0/10 preparation, 1/10 execution... smile

Those look like 20s, will be summer tyres on it.

With proper tyres they are very good, same chassis, transmission and TR system as the Disco3.
You need a set of off road tyres for them and they are hugely capable. Shame 99.9% of them will never be used off road.

I would imagine it was just water burning off the exhaust or something.

Rubbish! My old L322 was outstanding off road. The road biased tyres hindered it a little, but it went through a lot more than you'd expect. The trucks are perfectly suited to off-roading, but the biggest enablers are tyres and ability. Of which the driver of that RRS appeared to be lacking the correct type of both things!

Still. At least he was using it off road.

I'm not sure that could be classed as using it properly.

You are a miserable bunch...as are the people laughing at him in the video.

It's the problem with the people in this country - always happy to see someone elses misfortune.
