147,000 miles, 11 years old, 3.2 straight 6 (diesel), plenty of tourque, and she's still delivering.....

Mixed driving, clearly not booting it everywhere, but there were brief bursts, and some rush hour queues. Pretty good for cold temps I thought.

Depending on how fast your average speed is the engine probably has less than 5,000 hours on it. And you can't be working it very hard if a 3.2L straight 6 is doing 50 to the gallon.

I'd be worried about that big yellow exclamation mark! It's showing you've only got 332 miles until it self-destructs.

70 most of the day. Brief charge up to 90 for 50 miles. Not working very hard, but not driving like miss daisy either.

Yellow triangle due to ignition only!

Mine has done 20,000 miles fewer but the OBC consumption figures are wildly optimistic! I see around 36-38 mpg in this weather using the click-to-click on the pump method and working it out via the odometer. OBC usually says high 40s

I see your pixels work on the OTG and gear selector/clock - always been ok or did you have to fix?

Been fixed.... I've not checked it but my rough and ready calcs believe it's not a million miles out.

I know, but 40k per annum in a 4.0 v8 is not really affordable.

Why can't I be a car enthusiast and drive a diesel?

Why's the low fuel light on if you've 3/4 of a tank?

Ignition's on but engine isn't running. Start engine, check lights go out. Simple really.

Jesus, c'mon folks, if you don't have anything nice to say and all that! Some of us do have to live in the real world and get decent mpg!

Pistonheads is deliberately a broad church, there's something for everyone and you're never going to like it all, just the way of the world!
