seen people on here saying they tried to order a gt4 a year ago yet a couple of others on here successfully ordered and have taken delivery of a gt4 after only ordering 6 months ago...
not impressed to here this at all... so does this mean dealer favouritism or you need to shop around more or do you actually have to buy another duff model just to get in their good books?! If so I would rather wait for 1 year once gt4s hype has calmed down and they return down to list price.

deposits mean nothing, past history is key to getting cars.
don't think this is true either as for someone on pistonheads who has never bought a new Porsche or as far as I know not even a secondhand Porsche from an opc had no trouble getting a gt4,whereas some of the unlucky ones have bought both new and secondhand from an opc !sidicks said:

Not true for the GT3 so why would it be true for the GT2?![biggrin](/inc/images/biggrin.gif)

It could be argued that due to the desirability of the 991 GT3 (and its subsequent second hand values) it started all this letter of intent nonsense ![biggrin](/inc/images/biggrin.gif)
pretty much, like i said, OPC Hatfield advised me getting in an LOI early for the next gen GT4 now as i missed out. People had LOI's in before the 3RS was announced.![biggrin](/inc/images/biggrin.gif)
its a shame its gone down this route but there you go
Well I have to say I don't understand how it works, I am on my 8th Porsche and have bought 6 from OPC's, 3 from 1 OPC and I could not get a GT4 and I tried on the day they were released when I heard they were manual, even with a GT3 to trade against.
Don't really know what you should do I am told that LOI does not guarantee a car and that GT cars are allocated by the DP.
So not sure if you should look to buy an Alfa or an Evora 400 or take up the suggestion above.
In the meantime I have a LOI in for a GT4RS probably got more chance of winning the Euro lottery.

With all due respect, as you have a clear and credible OPC relationship however, if you tried on the day it was announced it was already too late. LOI's is the course of action if a drunken bloke down the pub whispers something about maybe there being a GT4 in the distant future.Gassing Station | 911/Carrera GT | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
