I am trying to buy a GT2 RS and getting told I'm way off the mark in terms of Value.
What is the real trading value of a GT2 RS today? Not what they are advertised at but what they are really selling for if they are selling at all. I am also well aware of what a few of the early cars sold for but that time has passed now.

I see JZM have just got an 800 mile WP car in stock listed for £425k. It's the cheapest car I can see advertised and certainly £100k less than the first cars were advertised at and those cars probably sold close to those levels. JZM in my experience are there to do deals, know the market for these cars well and are pretty straightforward to deal with. I'd say they're hoping to sell that car for somewhere quite close to that. The car is probably SoR. What is the real trading value of a GT2 RS today? Not what they are advertised at but what they are really selling for if they are selling at all. My guess is if you're looking to pay less than £400k you won't buy a car at the moment. You might in two or three months but then it's a very limited volume car and I doubt there will be more than a handful cars on sale at any one time and quite possibly all the flipped cars may have found homes so prices may even firm up.

I think you will get a car sub-400 now. My guess is if you're looking to pay less than £400k you won't buy a car at the moment. Personally if I wanted an RS it would be the GT3 RS. Just because it's N/A. Although the bat st mental GT2 is probably rather good!
Agree it's the PDK car of choice imo.Rather have a 812 Superfast at 1/2 the price than a GT2 at that price.
As with most Pork they are great cars at List or a little over, not so good at 3x the price.

Sorry you could not make last week. Just starting to get the hang of the 2RS now. Requires much more respect than the 3RS and the GT3.2. Feels like the 3RS with double the TQ and another 300bhp. Everything just seems like its happening 2x as fast. You thought the GT3.2 was a blast, wait till you have ago in this.Rather have a 812 Superfast at 1/2 the price than a GT2 at that price.

Agree. People comparing it to 3 or 3RS are missing the point, except for autocar of course who are known for their insight. First modern era car I’ve driven that demands some actual respect and time to get under its skin. Up to 2000 miles since I picked it up and it is just superb. AndrewD said:

I read their GT2 RS ‘roadtest’ and thought it rather a strange conclusion. Then i read this weeks on a 812 Superfast and realised that sadly they are just talking complete nonsense. Entirely missed the point of both those wonderful unique cars. Woeful journalism.Gassing Station | 911/Carrera GT | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
