What with plenty of motoring events coming up in July and my PH polo looking well lived in I was wondering about some new PH clothing for my back.

How about a smart collared shirt, short sleeve? Am thinking along the lines of the F1 team shirt as a guide. Something smart and discreet which would look good on dress down days in the office and also strolling around the ground of Goodwood. Maybe white with a logo on the sleeve and breast?

Has this been done before? Anyone else fancy it?

I'd be interested in people's views. Perhaps a lighter coloured polo shirt would do the trick.

We sell lots of T shirts but not many polos - is that because no one wants a black polo in summer?

Ted,

I agree with HS - a nice semi-formal short-sleeved shirt for work, with subtle logo.

And if it sells well - then a long-sleeved version in the autumn.

And then a nice white polo shirt - same as the black one - just opposite colours.

I'd be interested in ordering a formal-ish pit crew type shirt. Got too many flipping polo shirts.

I think this is what he means Ted, I'd buy a PH one admittedly maybe not at £55 though!!

I was thinking maybe a more subtle one - like McClarens - where it seems to be white on white - but looks so smart.

Just my tuppence ....

I have one of the Honda shirts myself.
That style of 'pit crew' shirt (relaxed but smart) but definitely a bit more discreet than having sponsors all over the shirt.

Polos are great for romping about in at the weekends but thought something a bit classy for events/office.

As for lighter polo's - could be worth investigating - the black ones are quite 'heavy' on days like these.

Just trying to work it so I can sport a PH item on me everyday of the week

I still like my grey one from a few years back; not too hot in summer.

A serious point; I worry enough about having a couple of PH logos and web addresses on my car pointing to the place I spend most of my time - it won't take a genius to crack the code I used for my log in name either.

When considering to wear a PH shirt to the office, also consider that people may visit the site and see what you do with your day.

As I say - a serious point (well certainly for me anyway )

I'm sure a simple PH logo (no text) in a not too contrasting colour will not cause any problems like that.

Ted.

Any advances on these now you have recovered from the gruelling slog of the Motorshow?

Yep, was working on these last week. Although now it's a week later and I've not finished them
