On its way from Stuttgart to me, probably in the tunnel about now,

Fair to say I'm quite excited.... More updates to follow!

Nice one, living the dream.

Liking the Pork collection also, I have a GT3 for my sins also and can't see it going any time soon. How does the P1 compare in terms of raw feel and connection?

Great looking car, nice one.

No way would I want to be the person who drove it into or reversed it out of that transporter though!!

Beautiful! Congratulations.

I have a 650S which is narrower than the P1, it went in to the dealers one day and the pick-up vehicle was like that one, it had about 1 inch clearance either side of the mirrors. The bloke just lined it up and reversed straight in without missing a beat, I nearly had a heart attack! He said he'd done it so many times it was second nature.

+1, Stunning.
Another here for not wanting to load or offload it though, i'd st a brick.
Loaded and off loaded plenty of tractors and 1 full size dinosaur in and out of my wagon over the years, but a P1 would have me worried.

Wow, that is a stunner for sure. I would not want to be the delivery driver though, that is seriously close.

Thanks! I love 911's!

TBH I have no idea, I've driven it out of the showroom and about 20 feet to the truck where I let the delivery guy take over, he had to crawl out of the window once the car was in the lorry as they couldn't open the doors ( I was a bit surprised they didn't use a winch)

Anyway I'll be behind the wheel soon and will let you know. I'm a big fan of the 997 RS which with is hard as F (particularly with KW's) so be interesting to see. I expect another dimension in performance and hopefully just as connected

The spaceship/racecar interior blows my mind, the carbon tub has to be the coolest thing about Mclarens and you feel really cocooned in the P1.

Not to my knowledge, and I have 370 cars (with some duplicates, no doubt). That said, the most substantial stuff has come towards the end. I think a RHD P1 would piss some owners off a lot.

It would ps off some owners if the price charged was the same as for the standard left-hooker - which I am absolutely sure it would not have been.

If however a customer had said to them, "Here's a blank cheque. Make me a RHD P1," I suspect McLaren would have found a way to make that happen.

ETA: I wonder why your "p-i-s-s" was allowed but mine was blocked? (And please, no jokes about urinary tract infections!)
