Just wondered who is at Donington for TVRCC on the 31st?

I should be there as usual! Maybe with the TVR flag :D

Dave.

Should recognise someone this time then!

Are you usually over near the Old Hairpin or opposite the Podium/in Grandstand?

Ordered a flag/pole earlier

Flag £20

How sad am i?

Pole was an extra tenner!

Dave.

Not sad at all.

Nothing worse than wondering where the hell everyone is,
especially at somewhere the size of Donington.

We're having our 'Big Bad Wedge Fest' that weekend, so I suppose most of us Wedgers will be absent.

I was at Cadwell last week though, and of course there is Croft, 20 mins from my front door.

Suppose you could put it that way!

That's a shame about the BBWF - Can get a lift up to Donington but not up to BBWF..... a shame would have loved to go to both!

Will be at BBWF next year though at least

Dave.

It should be an interesting day. There should be plenty of Action on the track, as we have invited some other cars out to play, whilst we build up the TVR Numbers..

We also have some interesting Plans for the rest of the season which could see as many as 4 races in one weekend with a good mix of machinary.

There's is also the possibility of an extra double header round at snetterton.

We are currently looking at how to do things for next season and are open to all types of suggestions. So if you have a capable car or are interested in building / buying one drop me a line.

there is sadly one ex race tasmin being broken ( due to an accident) on e-bay at the moment so some bargain bits available.

Someone mentioned Hiring cars I'd be interested to see what sort of figure people are expecting to pay for that. We do have a second car that we are running for a few people this season, and There is a possibility that some of the other smaller teams may have some next season. We're not talking the lavishly supported big truck teams, but the we have a spare competitive car, and you'll need to muck in with the car type deal.

as a comparison the MAx5's charge about 750 for a race day arrive and drive.

cheers

I'll be there, either in the newly repainted Chimaera, or the Chav wagon Saxo (with discrete PH sticker in the back window) and should be with my usual 'discrete' sparring partner
And it's even free entry if your a member of the DPRAC

I'll be there with Mrs Trackside. Will be in her red Hyundai Coupe (PH sticker in the back window). Not seen the TVR challenge before so looking forward to that.

We know a driver in the BMW championship and apparently the TVRs are racing with them this weekend...

Not long now! Got a good idea of who will be there now!

There will more than likely be more people along here soon..

Don't think the flag will have arrived in time...

Latest news is:
Departed from DHL facility in Buenos Aires - Argentina as of: July 25, 2005 23:51

Thanks,
Dave.

Not strictly true. As our Grids arnt massive at them moment, to make it more exciting for both racers and spectators we've invited cars from the BMW and Max5 Championships to come and play so it should be a laugh

It will be interesting to play with the other cars.

Dont forget to Come into the Paddock and say Hi

Cheers

Fair enough, Graham. I stand corrected. Still, looking forward to seeing Tivs up against M3s!

Will come and say hello.

Thats kind of what we thought. Lots of people get a bit precious about what they race with, but we thought it might be a laugh to mix things up a bit.

see you there G

Yep, no restrictions on most car racing days
If you've parked infield, just wander through the tunnel under the start/finish straight, and you'll be able to wander around the paddock, infact you've got to walk through it if you want to watch the racing from the 'outfield'
