Calling all Tuscan / GT drivers...........

Okay...so it's like this.....

Mid Essex have been raising funds towards a good cause recently. A fellow TVRcc Member has a young godson, George, who needs a vital operation and money needs to be raised to get him to America.

One of our guys, Phil Woods of Phil Woods Motor Bodies, is organising a Fun Day and would like to do an auction of car bits in the true TVR Blackpool fashion.

I was hoping that you may be able to assist with this......

Now...the dark bit is that you are probably going to have to have a slight indiscretion in order to donate a decent car bit....like a wheel or a wing ...you know the kind of thing I mean....

and whilst I have no wish to see anyone out there doing damage to their Tusc......I know that these things happen........especially to bonnets...hey Ben....

Just thought I'd mention it....and if anyone feels that they could help out.....please mail me or grab me a race meet....we do attend all that we can.

Thanks...........

Pauline

I had promised to give this to James Agger, but we've been lugging it around in the truck for some time now and he hasn't claimed it.

Assuming Steve hasn't binned it, and the Aggro man doesn't object, you can have this to kick you off. On the understanding that Mid-Essex use their combined 'willpower' to keep me away from solid objects in future

Andy,

Is it all back together again then?

Nope.

Well, we stuck a new front end on at the circuit so we could race.

Now we have a front wishbone to do, glass repairs to both sides of the rear, tonneau cover, a new passenger door, whole front quarter behind the left front wheel (which is because we have to remove it all to weld in a new chassis outrigger tube and straighten the roll cage), then paint it. Again.

So I think you could say we have a fair amount to do Still, at least we don't need a new chassis

I think that we are all becoming quite impressed in your ability to see the silver lining Mr Holden .

At least potential sponsors can't say that the car doesn't see any action - the crowds love a good crash .

Seriously though, good luck with getting it back together again - will see you at Combe!

Well its either that or jack the whole thing in.

I'll get some good footage on the TV from Knockhill. Nathan had a camera on board so you'll see me lock up then deftly avoid my sparring partner, Mr Wheeler, before Nathan gets intimate with him

Then later on you'll gasp with admiration when you see the footage from Neil's car of me going straight on at Duffus and into the wall. The fun just keeps coming as Neil takes the camera car thing to new heights and keeps my accident in shot by landing his car on top of mine.

Nice.

No worries. No 6 will be back. Beautifully presented as usual. There goes another Bank Holiday weekend

See you at Combe.
