That looks really smart, really nice stance too. Hats off to you for not "chaving" it up.

Its alright actually. Better than I thought it would. The eibachs arent good enough though, it needs Coilovers badly!

Im changing the heated seats i have now for some OMP buckets and also changing the steering wheel to bring it a wee bit closer. Then she'll feel a bit more track-like! (and save more weight).

The wheels look the nuts IMO, but a bit chav-tastic, so Im looking at a set of dark grey Compo MO's, in 16" and wider than normal. With some R888's or Advans.

Thanks for the feedback...

Mike.

Nice car mate.

And it's not what you drive, it's how you drive it wink Always remember that.

Haha yer, ive scared a few boxters and countless WRX owners. Have to say, those that ive kept up with have been very polite and given genuine 'well done' signals lol.

Its nice to see that the more 'mature' sunday morning B-road drivers still respect a 22yr old driving a plastic car... lol.

Looks lovely, subtle but still stands out. So with the manifold back system and the remap, what sort of power/torque figures are you getting?

Tidy little motor. Much nicer looking than the model that has replaced it.

I thought about getting one of these.

How's the ride? Read it's very hard.

Ive only got rough figures to go on really... Its ABOUT 180bhp. its a 182kit, but i run the 190 map. so maybe a tad more. I'll quite happily out-drag a CTR or a clio 182 cup. Even managed to hold onto an astra VXR over a 1/4mile (but that was mostly due to a great start).

The ride is fine on standard springs, bit harder on the eibachs. But personally I still find it soft. Theyre just cheap to run and insure, and with a few light mods are properly good little cars.

well worth a shout if you in the market for a hot hatch.

Hi Mike, I like the car, though personally not sure about the red stripe on the wheels?
Who fitted the Eibachs? Only asking as I had my MX5 done by Mazda, then after several recommendations took it to Wheels in Motion to have the geo sorted, totally changed the handling.

I did the eibach's. Theyre only 35mm drop, so doesnt put out the geo that much tbh. Once she's on coilovers i will get it set up properly.

As for the wheels, well, that was just a design choice on my part. I was plain colours now, but has to be dark grey or black to go with the carbon bonnet.....lol.

Thanks, I want it done so badly, lol. But with moving out this month, funds are beyond short!

Still, once thats out of the way, I can start playing again!

If anybody is hooked up in the carbon-fibre world, a little help wouldnt go amiss!!smile

How did you find the RS? I like them but i dont feel its that much of a 'step up' from what i have to warrant buying. Im sure my supercharged ST would be quicker.... if not slightly more comical! lol.

Very nice car Mike. Nice to see one with a few choice mods that actually improve the way it drives as well.

Excellent pic with the spinnaker tower in the background too! biggrin

Would have been a brilliant shot if it was in focus..... lol.

I assume you are all up for random photo sessions? We'll have to do a newbie meet!

Interesting to see you're going down to 16's. I personally always thought that the 17's ruined the handling of the Fiesta and felt the Zetec S was better and more fun to drive on it's 16's. Have the engine mods done anything to improve the low end response/torque or do the keep the engines requirements to be reved just faster when you do?
