Nightmare.
Not only does it affect your insurance in the future, but the car is not worth as much after the respray, either, 9 times out of 10, especially if the car is very new.
Be careful if you have told the insurers that it is garaged at night. My pal told his insurers that, as it was necessary to have a chance of insurance (EVO 340) and then it was vandalised on his driveway. They would not pay out.

Dave52 very sorry to hear that, scum of this type are utter
Always remember that it's totally fuelled by jealousy and envy (they know every day of their sad lives they will NEVER own something like that)and take a small bit of comfort that what comes around goes around (hopefully with interest). If it makes you feel any better my wife yesterday picked our daughter up from pre-school in the Voyager and took her new best friend home............reversed straight into their gate
......and the Voyager's got reversing sensors! New bumper, complete light assembly, repair dent and paint!!
Don't let the Bastards get you down eh?

In Basildon, Essex, (2003), three fellas in a Transit van caught a guy with really strong acidic path cleaner attacking a new-ish Lancer Evolution 330.
Rather than beat him up and end in jail themselves, they drove him to the end of a lonely, single-track road, stripped him to nothing, as in NOTHING, no clothes, no mobile, no car keys, no wallet...and let him find his way back, a minimum 2.5 miles from the nearest house.
Oh, it was February and about 2 degrees at the time.
EEK!
Then gave all his details to the owner of the car.

Lived the first 25 years of my life there, as I mentioned earlier what goes around comes around....

Just how SICK can a person be?
Got keyed last night both sides front to back, bonnet even the roof! Total respray.
Doesn't make it any better, but it would appear to be a personal vendetta, rather than a random attack?
Hi Chris. Yep it would appear to be personal. And the scum must be quite thin as i was parked along side of an 2.5m wall with about 250mm gap.Went to my mate at the bodyshop this afternoon.£800 cash job. Will be done by W/E.
