Lovely day out. I have been twice but wont be getting ripped off this year. They actually
advertise the AM gathering to attract extra visitors for them then have the bloody cheek
to charge us nearly £20 to get in! As we are one of the main attractions on the day It would
be much fairer if they charged us per car, not per person.

that is something i could look into.... but then again if you attend any event....even AMOC concours etc...you will always be charged to enter....in fact some events you get charged more than the average visitor....so a reduced rate for group booking was , the deal last yr...

It would be great if you could twist their arm a bit Tony. After all, they have
seen what a good turn out there is of us on the day. I know that while running
a V12 AM £20 is pretty small beer in the scheme of things, it's just the principle.

I got in for free last year as mine was being used on a trade stand. Consider yourselves lucky it only cost you £20 whistle

It's all for 'charideee' though Trev cool

If a load of 'rich' people want to show up, make lots of noise and park on their nicely kept posh lawn, I guess they can charge what they want for the privilege.

Plus the amount of cake Cockers shoplifted would make Raffles blush...

I don't have any issue paying to get in - they have to pay the upkeep, and if we rented somewhere to meet on a commercial basis it would be more I'm sure.

Oh, and I prefer if it didn't clash with the Brit GP, I was thinking of going this year.
