FAQ's said:
To raise the wipers to vertical. Press numeral buttons 8 & 9 together and at the same time turn the ignition key to position 2. Remove key. To return wipers to the stowed position turn Ignition key to position 2.
I need to replace the wipers on my DB9 and per the advice in FAQ's I've been pressing buttons 8&9 and switching the ingition until my fingers are numb, I've also found an RAC page which says buttons 7&8 but this doesn't work either.irked

I'm guessing position 2 is the first click before the ignition comes on, although I've tried all positions and turning from both on and off. Am I missing something? confusedbanghead

Keep left hand finger on 8+9. Insert key. Turn it 2 positions, so dashboard lights up - windscreen wipers go to the vertical.
Unless they've changed the buttons on later models and I don't know about it

I did this as Neil describes on my '05 DB9. Try 5&6 as that rings a bell from when I did it.

I also switched the temps from Celsius to Fahrenheit by pressing some other combination.

I tried to change my wipers at the weekend and got so cheesed off, went and bought a newer model off Grange Exeter and paid for it this morning.( not 100% of the reasoning but some)
Hopefully it`s wipers will be in a better condition.

Was the ashtray full as well? Hate it when that happens.

I must admit the wipers on my DB9 is driving me nuts I have tried to upgrade them, and I cannot get any sensible answers from works/dealer/anybody else, to upgrade them to the 2012 beam type so if anybody is looking for a MY2011. I maybe tempted to go for the new upgraded DB9. This will involve some very complex man maths to justify....

Your logic makes perfect sense to me Tarks but It's not my turn for a new car yet, In the 2 years Louisa's had her SLK I've bought 3 cars so shes next and she wants an Aston too (v8 vantage obviously as she's a girl) so I'll either have to leave her, buy two Astons (which I can't afford) or find a way to swap my wipers

My wipers look like they have been on a number of previous cars before mineeek, so i'd be well up to change them. I mean the whole wiper not the blade. I can't afford to buy another carfrown, so I'm stuck with changing the wipers. Anyone got any links to where I could get them? smile

Does the wipers on a DB9 get rid of the tobacco stains from the pipe?

I have been saving that one till I actually pick it up on Friday.

The cost to change will be revealed so I will look forward to posting the outcome.

I think the quote was "anything under £15k and I will eat my hat and video it"

To make things worse do I also deduct the £2000 I would of needed to spend on mine next month?

Ps I also have a pair of Bosch 20" and 24 " wipers sitting in my garage so Maverick you are welcome to drop by and pick them up as I owe you for previous advice.
