Yep, definelty chillier this morning, also the bloody sun is low coming into the London on the M4 so I was being blinded! Lovely!!!

Not resorted to the heating yet mind you... still in shorts and T-shirt with the door open at home, heating is not til November / December!

I wore the same as yesterday. 15 minutes for the feeling to come back to my legs. Doh!

Yep, This morning was an experiment in cold weather adaptability smile. Luckily the commute is only 4 mins on the bike, would not have been able to get off otherwise, I do not have any windproof trousers. I think I am going to have to get the credit card out again and buy some! frown I am not ready to stop using the bike yet.frown When do you guys hang up the helmet for winter?

Never.

I ride all year round and always have done.

did my first winter last year and survived (with trousers!)

thought I'd get away with a jumper under the summer jacket this morning but was very wrong! I find getting the textile winter jacket out really depressing. Might try and move onto leathers with a windproof underneath for a while...

Indeed it was much colder even in London than recently. To be honest its usually Nov for me when the termal lining and winter gloves come out. Though without windproof gear you'd have definitely felt it today.
The summer only riders tend to die away from now onwards during the commute leaving us 'hardcore' winter commuters which I happily prefer as it makes my life easier. wink

All year round here too. I really like the winter, love riding in the dark at night and far fewer bikes around making it easier on the M-ways etc. Certainly my favourite time of year. This morning was chilly but not that bad, still wore my fully vented trousers and jacket and felt fine. A few weeks yet before it starts to get cold!

Never, the only time the bike doesn't go out is if there is ice on the roads apart from that it's all year round for me.

Put the neck tube on this morning as it was a tad colder but still haven't switched on the heated grips on the R1 just yet wink

I think the 18 was for degrees Fahrenheit.

My hands were pretty chilly this morning. I only have summer gloves or really thick winter ones (that I hate using).
