I'm about 8 miles away (further off of the Downs) and it's falling hard here and got a good covering, so will they scrub the whole round or will they race?

Hello mel . . .

Sitting here in Suffolk about leave . . .. Got friends in Wigmore who have snowed off this morning (fair weather race fans wink )

Gotta think if there is coverage, then it's not gonna happen . .. Looking at the weather forecast, they're suggesting it's gonna snow until at 13:00hrs in the region and the MSV site says nothing of course . ..

Unofficial word from Brands also says it's been cancelled, statement to be released in the next couple of minutes.

disappointing start to the season, at least it's rescheduled and you can use your tickets. Big thanks to a couple of blokes who helped me push the 944 out of the snow

Bizzare day - left home at 07.00 in a blizzard, returned 7 hours later to blue sky & sunshine. Was still snowing when I left Brands. Bummer.

was there for the whole weekend, fri/sat/sun so really dissapointed and a bit peeved at the lack of communication from msv-r about it all, especially as the severe weather warning was known about on fri night!!!!

still, unlike some i did get to see some action, albeit from our hospitality unit with the wsb on!!

on a personal note i must comment that all the teams tried there hardest to get out there and do something today but everytime we tried something it just snowed harder!!!

I was looking forward to seeing it on C4 from the comfort of my sofa but when i checked to see what time it was on i was shocked to find out that C4 are only showing a highlights show on the Tuesday night after the race weekend and at stupid a clock at night/morning , not great news for those of us without eurosport and what a stupid time to be showing it , why did C4 even bother ? The show needs to be on a sunday evening at the latest ( just like the rally used to be before they lost that one too ) so the younger fans can still stay up and watch it.
Rant over .
will just have to make it down to brands when todays rounds are going to be re-run on may 10/11.

I made a round trip 540 miles to BSB. Stayed at Brandshatch Place hotel least night and was gutted that we woke up to thick thick snow. I had bought 3 tickets + grandstand seats.I cant make it back to Brands on May 11th for the re scheduled event. What are my chances of a refund?

Strange, as I'm in Anglesey for a Stag do weekend that weekend an notice you're from that neck of the woods, and I've decided as we're all heading home on the Sunday anyway, that I'm gonna make the trip down in the morning, once I get out of Brunstrom territory it's just like coming down from Oulton Park and i should make good time . . . 1st race won't be until 1:30ish anyway . .

I don't know about a refund, you may be lucky, but I seem to doubt it . . .
