500+ miles commuting during the week every week means my weekend biking activities are usually limited to washing the bike frown

Me too.

I've actually done a few long rides over the last month at weekends though and really enjoyed it. It does make a change to ride for fun and not to get to work/home smile

I think I might go and look at a SUZUKI RF900 that has caught my eye,

not had a bike for a few years dont know if it is a good bike to start back off, but it does look nice.

Im working saturday, wil lwatch the wsb super pole when i get home as its on about 8 pm (its in america), then sunday i might go up lydden hill race circuit to watch the BMCRC or whatever, club racing, as the tracks only a 15 minute drive away, so why not, it will be dead cheap too.

Picking up my new bike jacket from the DHL depot this weekend. May go bike testing if the weather holds, and help a mate adjust the suspension on his Ducati 695, which seems to be set up for someone half his size/weight at the mo...flaky cornering moments all round!

I'm planning on a ride tomorrow. Not sure where yet, though.

Any PHers local to South East Wales got any recommendations?

A good run in is a hard run in.
