Oulton Park Gold Cup - Aug Bank Hol - Anyone going?
Discussion
I am going to be making my annual trip over to Oulton Park for the Gold Cup on August bank holiday weekend. Wondering if there are any other PH'ers going along?
I will be there with a few friends for the weekend. By all means say hello, have a beer with us and a chat. We will be camping with a silver e46 325ci, white clio 197 cup and a red accord type r.

We might be racing but it depends if it is a unlimited noise event, as the car is prepared to Euro F2 regs and I don't fancy just buying a silencer/dyno runs etc for one event. Hopefully when the good people get back from Silverstone I will find out.
Fingers crossed we can get to run.

Usually DBT(presuming thats the race you are running in?) cars run totally unsilenced at OPGC, certainly ask hscc to make sure but i am 99% certain thats still the case this year. Silencing a f5000 or occasional DFV f1 is pretty difficult!Fingers crossed we can get to run.
Another potentially leaky addition will be joining our small campsite in the shape of a black 1979 MG Midget (will be wearing its PH smiley with pride). Younger brother picked it up from Kings Lynn yesterday and enjoyed a 50mph drive all the way back to Teesside! Cheap open top motoring and hopefully it stays dry.

We are turning up on our own, I did bounce the idea round the Corvette forum but nobody seemed interested, so I just applied for my own pass.
