So that is 161 out of 619? great work there.
I'm quite sure that's a majority. And a previously unheard of maximum.

Many thanks for correcting my mistakes, much appreciated. I feel so enlightened now smile. Perhaps you could do the same for the writer of this list and get him to update it and delete the dead ones? And maybe help in fill in all the blanks while you're at it. Thanks also for not telling me what to think, fortunately I have a mind of my own. Ever thought about using yours? smile.

I am genuinely interested, have been for about 15 years now, when I first saw a news report with an 'expert' standing on a dried up reservoir warning of the dire consequences of global warming and how this would be the future.

Since then, MM CO2 has increased hugely, but my local council's drought garden, planted 10 years ago (because all we will be able to grow in 10 years time is Mediterranean plants), has rotted and died, the last three (4 now) bbq summers we were promised haven't happened, predictions that the kiddies will never see snow again has somehow not worked out. The icecaps have grown back, hurricanes have decreased, no nearer to some mythical tipping point and even the likes of Jones are forced to admit that (statistically) since 95 there has been no warming and that's with reduced ground weather stations (apart from ones at airports and road junctions) and now wonky satellites. etc. etc. etc. etc……

So feel free to join in and explain why nothing, absolutely fk all, has happened? Mr fully paid up vested interest climate change campaigner. Anytime you like… 'no pressure'… smile.

It's already too late. Dumbo and Porridge said so. Buy an inflatable ring to save yourself from the impending flood.

I'm not concerned about floods. I have solved this conundrum by moving somewhere that is undoubtably going to have a drought.

This may have been missed so apologies in advance if it's a pearoast.

Global Tropical Cyclone Activity at 33-Year Low

Dr. Ryan N. Maue’s 2010 Global Tropical Cyclone Activity Update

Update: Current Year-to-Date analysis of Northern Hemisphere and Global Tropical Cyclone
Accumulated Cyclone Energy (ACE) AND Power Dissipation Index (PDI) has fallen even further
than during the previous 3-years. The global activity is at 33-year lows
and at a historical record low where Typhoons form in the Western Pacific.

Oooh . . that must be bad. Must be global warming. It's going to end in disaster you know. We need more tax, now!

As far as I'm aware those you describe aren't "proven fraudsters". The CRU bunch have been cleared.
Only by whitewash, their 'mates', non independent inquiries, people with vested interests and the hard of thinking.

You did read this didn't you?
Briefly skimmed it. It's opinion. Not factual. Given the lack of importance in the bigger picture I've very little interest even if it's true.

. . . peer review process is not perfect but is robust enough to ensure the conspiracies suggested remain largely impossible.
Read Mountford's book "The Hockey Stick Illusion" (referenced often on these threads) and about how Mann his co-workers and (apparent) apologists at 'Nature' fiddled and manipulated this supposedly robust procedure and see if you still hold to the claim.
The original hockey-stick has been discredited. However it's now been revised and replicated several times.

As I said the peer-review process isn't perfect, but it is not so flawed that MMGW could be the biggest conspiracy in history.

Also do you know that the IPCC reviews so called "grey" literature? So it would still review a paper even from a spurrious source, so again it's a pointless arguement.

I'm sorry I wasn't aware it was my sworn duty to slowly hammer these basic fundamentals through to you.

I told you the information is in the IPCC report which is public domain. It's also a widely accepted scientific review unlike the information provided by turbobloke.

If you honestly believe I'm undermining myself by not painstakingly copying and pasting references in support of somebody elses (flawed) arguement then I think it speaks volumes about your ability to follow a debate.

The same discredited report that uses non-peer reviewed factoids to back up it's pre-contrived conculsions?
Widely accepted does not equal valid or valuable (Scientology is "widely accepted" but my body thetans tell a different story) .
