I have developed enormous hankerings for a Speedmaster and can't surpress them.

What should I be expecting to pay for a new one?

and how does £1900 for this one sound:

Got the 9300 speedmaster in steel now, prefer the weight & heft of the steel to the Titanium, titanium justs feels a bit too 'flimsy' to me on this model
Anyway really love the new SMasters, with the date & two dial, think they are a lovely classic design

My Gramps' old watch. Just back from being serviced and whacked on a Toshi. Shame they couldn't do anything about the dial, but I guess it gives it character!

My dad's old watch.

I would hate to lose the patina, it shows that it's got a bit of history.

Maybe have a look for a period expander bracelet? I don't remember my grandfathers watch, but I remember it had an expander bracelet!

I fancy a bit of retro today. Early LCD watch, not sure how to date it as I can't see the usual Bulova date code on it anywhere confused

Likewise, huge desire to own a speedy, so ordered one from Iconic Watches about 4 weeks ago..

Saw the one linked in your post when I was ordering but thought for another £280 could purchase brand new from IW and was worth the bit extra (in fact mine was only £180 more as purchased it on the croc strap). Haven't seen them anywhere cheaper than IW, in case of interest the best discount I got offered from a high street dealer (Goldsmiths) was 14% off..

Expected to arrive from IW early this week smile

Apologies for poor photo quality, they were taken with an iPhone.

Two fresh arrivals, both from two different ends of the price prism. I've had the MM300 for around a month now after pulling the plug via Seyia and it's a truly fabulous watch, it's become my daily actually.

The Zeppelin is a little known watch that I stumbled upon quite randomly through ABlogToWatch's YouTube reviews, it fitted my requirements for a good value, manual-wind/auto dress watch perfectly and it's a great watch for the money, £280 including delivery would you believe! It even has a working power reserve too.

I would happily recommend either watch!

Could someone please explain the difference between a Speedmaster and a Speedmaster Professional?

WofS make a distinction on their website and there is a £3000 price difference!
