Both days are sold out and there is quite a long waiting list too so it's unlikely you'll get on.

What day is you're taster mate? Got a few mates that might fancy doing that.
More details on it?
Aug 12th, £25!More details on it?
http://www.msvtrackdays.com/bike-home/event-detail... - not sure if that link will work, but its easy to find on MSV pages.
It sounds like very limited time on track, once they take up half of it with the sighting lap stuff (to be expected really), but I reckon I could get a few laps in before they stop us, can't moan for £25
I'm doing it to get a feel for the track on bike, having only previously done it in cars, and for my mates' benefit as he's never been on track in car or bike and we figure this is a good way to get him used to being out there, so when we book a proper day he won't feel quite so intimidated. Hopefully.
Well track day is tomorrow 👍😃
Really looking forward to it, I'll be taking a spare set of wheels with wets on just in case the weather turns british and leaving my road/track tyres on for this one.
I did a few little jobs on the bike yesterday, cleaned, tightened/lubed the chain, tested the tyre warmers I got with the bike actually work, checked the oil level/ took the mirrors off as they are some fixed ones and the bike came with fairing blanks.
I also removed some crappy random bits of silver sticky tape from the tank only to find crappy paint under them :-(
So I put some new stuff on to tidy it up for now, I tried to do better than random bits of tape though.
Opinions? Does it look awful?

Who cares what it looks like? It's more about what it goes like.
(Get those Michelins off it. Blurgh.)
Not a fan of the michelins then? I've never used them on track so I can't say owt, but they seem ok on a the road when cracking on.(Get those Michelins off it. Blurgh.)
I have these tyre options available for tomorrow but I'd have to swap them this morning as I'm working all afternoon!
Spare wheel set with discs
X2 sets Michelin power cup 2ct m/c
(VB front, A rear) 1x set On the bike now
1x set Racetec rain tyres
1x set Racetec k2 interact m/c tyres
1x set Racetec slick comp k
1x set Michelin pilot full wets
I use it on the road too so I didn't want to put the slicks on for just one day (hoping to get another set of spare wheels for them)
Any tyre recommendations then chaps?
These seem to think the michelins are good?

I'm there tomorrow. I try to get in one of the middle garages either 12 or 13 so try to get in there if you want and I'll help you out with anything you need.
Stop worrying about how a bike looks. Mines a mess at the moment and I'm riding it faster than ever. I never understand why people worry so much about it, after all there's a good chance you'll bin it if you're pushing yourself.

I'll try say hello then :-) I'm a bit OCD so I like all my belongings clean and tidy, wish I didn't though, I clean the car like 2-3 times a week lol.Stop worrying about how a bike looks. It's not my first track day it's just first on this bike so I'll be ok, I've always just used road tyres in the past so now I have the luxury of a spare set of wheels and a few sets of tyres I just want to have the best options/compromise.
On my road 600 k1 with road tyres I managed 1.59 at oulton, hoping to beat that obviously but not at the cost of injuries/damaged bike. I'll be taking it easy and getting used to this bike first and foremost!
Fingers crossed the weather stays good for us :-)
I had a blinder. Said hello to the OP amd even helped hi. Lots with a bit of brake fluid.
From my side, I was throroughly enjoying it. Pretty fast group, but only really got done by Joe Burms (again) amd a couple of other racers. The rain towards the end of the day was a pain, as was the synchronised slide that three of is had through Druids when we hit a wall of water out of nowhere.
Times? No idea, biut a couple of guys I overtook were logging 1:51 on their lap timers, which of course they weren't using
