Nice, I bet that must be hilarious to drive. http://retrorides.proboards.com/thread/87745/threa...
I put the letters on the thread for my Jensen when I had it. Long gone to defray a tax bill, alas!

Colonel Brown's nephew is a member of PH and has commented on the car - he recalls being driven around in it as a child. The Colonel later had a Dolomite Sprint and other cool cars. He passed away some years ago. His name is attached to a golf prize at one of the posh golf clubs in north east Norfolk.

Lovely wedge in a great colour combo Btw, 4rephill, if you would like to know what it's really like to have the misinformed populace bad mouth your P&J for being unreliable, try owning a TVR
And apart from a previous owners bodges, my TVR has been pretty reliable, amongst other things he bodged the cooling system to cover up a head gasket failure.
because of this it has had the heads skimmed and new gaskets and the cooling system repaired/replaced as necessary and just prior to this it had a new dizzy because the drive had worn and it became a lottery as to how it would run.
The mechanicals on this era TVR are pretty strong, a mix of rover (engine and box),ford (front suspension)and jaguar (rear suspension and diff), it tends to be electrical stuff that causes issues on these, getting a good earth on a plastic car is not easy.
I did something like 2.5k miles in it in the last 12 months, not once did it leave me stranded, even with the leaky HG it ran ok and still pulled really well.
