My old '78 Ferrari 400GT at Silverstone (Ferrari Owners Club 40th anniversary). Now long gone, replaced by a '79 AMV8.

It's not all about racing cars on a track, you know. Here's our 1953 Silver Wraith heading out on a field course which was for speed and accuracy (some sections in reverse and some "garages" to drive into and reverse out of). Needless to say, at 2.3 tons she wasn't taking any prizes!

Mine at Combe. Not sure if anyone's been before....

Then at Knockhill.

I'll update again once I've raced at Donington in July and trackdayed at Goodwood mid July. Also doing a hill climb in Aug.
Lovely smile

I'm in the lookout for one of those at the moment. Got a proper hankering for one.

Car's first shakedown run a week ago. On rolling road to optimise fuelling next week then a "proper" track outing planned for not long after that.

Car handled beautifully "out of the box" - like a dirty great go-kart :-) Currently working on fixing a recalcitrant gear change, optimising fuelling and tweaking suspension settings. Ears still ringing and smile has yet to fade ....

Getting there ....

Car on track marking 50 years since the original first broke cover outside Jaguar's Competition Department

Not sure if you'll ever get it sorted, and to be honest, you must be getting bored of it by now so why don't I take it off your hands. I'll try and care for it, as ugly as it is.
