Stolen from Reddit, I know the car has been posted before, but it seems to have even more tat now, and I think the spoilers are new.
The new BMW M2 took inspiration from this.

Will not fool many people
On this Forum or Car people in general I’d agree. But I imagine the majority of the population probably wouldn’t have a clue.
Until you start it up
Most people would probably be fooled by the sound, too! The old Ford V6 may not have been that powerful but it was sweet of voice. With straight through exhausts, one would produce enough howl and snarl to hoodwink the man on the privatized Eastern Counties omnibus (assuming he could hear the thing over the sound of bits dropping off the aging single-decker). I had a V6 Mondeo many moons ago and it sounded like something far more exotic.

Bash bars on drift cars are a thing. They're not for looks, it's probably that they work out cheaper than repairing or replacing the standard or bodykit bumpers, and they'll keep the radiator, intercooler etc protected. https://www.drifted.com/350z-bash-bar/

Given that most people (myself included) will only know a handful of ferrari models, and that they all look much the same, I could easily believe that it's just another variation of a legitimate car.

Of course a 2.5 v6 cougar isnt going to sound right at all, but looks wise, even as a regular cardle champ, I think I could be fooled.

Yeah, i can see the point of the bash bars on an actual competative drift car doing what it does on an off-road / track / race event, but that appears to be on the road in that picture and even has the reg plate attached to it. I'd rather not have something like that ttting into me when i'm out whether that's as a motorist or a pedestrian. I'm sure people on bikes & motorbikes would probably feel the same.

It would fall foul of Regulation 100 Construction and Use.

This showed up on the BCH Policing account.

PG9 prohibition placed on this absolute shed after it failed to stop for officers in Watford this morning. Thankfully the driver has been detained without incident. 410238 412179

What's "military" about it?

Except maybe being used as a tank shooting target.

Plus that one looks to have been constructed from plumber's copper pipe... its doing nothing in a bump.
