Best smoker barges 1-5 large [Vol 21]
Discussion
I had Vredestein Quatracs on a Peugeot 208 and they were absolutely superb in all sorts of stty conditions, and have worn brilliantly. I'd use them again on a cooking car without the slightest hesitation. I'm inclined to put all seasons on anything I'm using in the UK that isn't a rip snorting monster.
Ironically it's probably a better car to use on gritted roads than most modern stuff, by my recollection they really nailed the corrosion protection on them?

Any risk takers out there!? some of the old mot's suggest at least one of the major oil leaks is done (and at least one to do!)

Thanks, out of interest, were they 5's or 6's? I assume the 6's are better anyway but you never know!Ironically it's probably a better car to use on gritted roads than most modern stuff, by my recollection they really nailed the corrosion protection on them?

Outside shot is it's one family/business owner so 6 name/ownership changes.......bit of a stretch, but also why not say one family owned from new?Edit: SIX former keepers, advertised as just having had the one. Why the fk do they do this?

With an auto? No thanks. That AW5 speeder neutered the 250bhp T5 pretty severely, it neuters the V70R, makes it wear a gimp suit, and lets everyone call it their bh; book figure for this 300bhp AWD monster was 7.7 seconds to 62 which wasn't very impressive even in 2003 and is outright pathetic now. Oh and it gets an official 25mpg. Late late cars got the AW6 speeder which is a bit better.
5.9 seconds for the manual at least, which makes it a bit interesting, but as I've said before I firmly believe Volvos are the one brand where the ordinary model is the one to get over the "big one".
Oh, and they need 98 octane to delivery this shattering performance. They sold in penny numbers for a bloody good reason, I'd certainly nominate the V70R and S60R as the worst performance offering of the 00s, and the only car ever to have existed that would get me to say the words "You should buy an Audi instead".
