I think it's because they are a bit... marmite?
Evidently they are to some tastes, but I think there's very good reasons other aren't copying it.
Many watches are marmite but I don't think that's the reason others aren't copying. It's not easy to get that ceramic bezel just right in that colour combo and then also get it to complement a version of rose gold.

The only modern LED watch which not only looks like the original but also significantly improves it with the dual display and 100m WR.

Nice, I've been looking at those for a while but already own a Bulova Computron so not sure I need another classic LCD watch. Plus every time I end up on the Hamilton site I start wandering off to the Ventura.

I love it I have to say, looks and feels a quality watch and as you say, improves on the original. It's a fascinating story as well, the Pulsar/PSR.

I started looking at a Yema, then the Bulova, and settled on the Hamilton smile

Whats the strap made out of? Looks like Stingray but can't say I've ever seen it up that close before.

Correct! It is stingray. One of my favourite strap materials, great flexibility in the material and a great many colour options from various manufacturers.
