Thanks for the concern and kind words chaps, it was a little tongue in cheek if I'm honest, it was just a constant barrage of requests for help this morning meaning anything I started basically got stopped almost immediately due interruptions!!

IOTN, I notice my legs are coming unstuck.
Good grief! Just the one (1) or more coming apart old boy? I would 'umbly suggest that needs attending to, pdq, if not before.

I once knew a fellow who suffered with wonky legs, mariner as it happens, who didn't take prompt action...

Walk on the street with a sailorly gait (6)

All six are looking for an independent life elsewhere.
All are getting attention. I've had to turn the table upside-downside which was a challenge. It outweighs your correspondent by a comfortable margin.
OTOH it will require me to buy more tools, which always cheers me up.
I'll try a little tenderness

Edit: late again frown

I can see how heavy that there table would be and you did well to turn it, old boy, without givin' yerself a mischief.

On the matter of trivial crypticity.... you (and psi) are correct so your award is this...

They have a rather good Cafe Rouge there - love that French onion soup.

My diabetes has been under control for quite a while, I've had a couple of hypos (very strange) and like you grabbed some chocolate and sweet tea. My eye pictures this year revealed some nerve damage so I assume it's not fully under control. I have to admit I'm somewhat ambivalent to it and pretty much carry on as normal.
I suffer from high pressure behind the eyes anyway and am at risk to glaucoma so it’s one of the reasons I’m taking it very seriously.

Marvellous! I always found winding down by way of food preparation was ver, ver, therapeutic back in the day, aided and abetted by a glug of vin rouge within the dish and young pequod, and no mistake.

There were always exception tho...

Snap but in my case things are complicated further by the fact that of the 11 medications i have to take, 9 cause hypertension, so they treat it with more medication which could conceivably cause kidney issues down the line.
It's a good life, if you don't weaken

I have to admit that I’m pretty impressed with you guys and how you’ve all dealt with your ailments and maintained a really positive outlook. The support network here is fabulous too. Everybody seems to approach all these issues with great humour.

Well done Slopes, congratumalations.

Time for bed, before leaping up early and having a pre-work run.

Hopefully work tomorrow will be a lot more work and a lot less meeting.
