Can’t argue with that, as we all knew this squad is paper thin simply can’t afford to lose 4 of our best players. Wolves well worth the win and what a first goal they scored absolute class.

Levy should be shot for letting ange go into a season with as little depth as this. Looks like we can add BJ to the injured list now as well.

Whilst shooting people Romero needs to go as well he started this episode of self harm. I hope we move him on I don’t think there’s a more selfish player in the league.

I know we were missing 4 players but you can't say Wolves didn't deserve that. The amount of chances they wasted was unbelievable. Terrific first goal too. Fair play.
Glad of the international break now.
Saw it coming, went to walk the dogs instead. Wolves were all over us second half and we had nothing... As everyone said, we'll be ok until the injuries start...

I'm not sure there's anyone to buy in Jan frown

Chelsea still concern me. They've been 'unlucky' in that they can't seem to hit a cows arse with a banjo, and then give away some comedy goals but I have the impression they'll hand someone a hammering at some stage. The Brentford game was another case in point for them at home, multiple chances and just unable to score, then give away a soft goal.

Now I am not going to go all Spursy at this point, I think we should beat them but they are not a bottom half side in reality. Still fancy a win though, and these are the next six games including Chelsea:

H Chelsea
A Wolves
H Villa
A Man City
H West Ham
H Newcastle

Tough run of games to be fair - 12 to 14 points from that lot would be very nice. Thoughts?
Toughest run of the season so far for sure. 12-14 points is optimistic IMHO. If we are still in touch with the top 6 by the time we play Newcastle I'll be very happy.

Chelsea is going to be our toughest home game so far. They always seem to find a way to ruin our day. I also think the atmosphere with Poch back is going to be a little weird as he was really loved by the fans but everyone is 100% on the Big Ange Bus now. Hopefully they continue their indifferent start to the season and we can be on top of our game.
I hate to be "that guy" but, err,

In timing and execution Wolves’ two goals were straight out of the old Postecoglu “we never stop” playbook.

Remember the dizzy heights of a quarter past 8 on Monday night were a free flowing top of the table Spurs team were ripping Chelsea apart?

Feels like an age ago.

So all of Klopps ranting post match against us has paid off then, should have had a red against Everton and should have had another today.

Uh oh!

The Times said:
BREAKING:

The FA has said it is prepared to review evidence of potentially serious breaches of agent rules in a transfer involving Tottenham Hotspur, Portsmouth and Jermain Defoe.

An investigation has found that during a private hearing concerning the transfer of Defoe to Spurs in 2008, it emerged that Defoe, Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy and Harry Redknapp, all dealt with an unlicensed agent.

Breaches of FA agent rules have led to clubs being deducted points and bans for directors. Luton Town were deducted 10 points for breaking Agent Regulations.

Independent experts have told The Times that a failure to comply with these regulations should be regarded as an extremely serious matter, potentially leading to heavy sanctions.

Clubs can be hit with a transfer ban, a points deduction or even relegation.

15 years ago? No coincidence it's come up now after we have had a good start to the season, not at all.

A transfer from 15 years ago that was reviewed by an independent panel, okayed by them, and then passed on to the FA who also okayed it. Seems fine.

If they are going back over the books how about investigating how a club finished 6th in Div 2 and were somehow promoted into the top flight?

Seems they are putting as much energy and efforts into pretending they care to avoid an independent regulator to come in and dismantle Chelski and City. It's quite the co-incidence that two clubs who have petered out cup wise since the rise of the oil clubs are Everton and Spurs.

Spurs to finish first in the league just before the end of the season, then get docked 10 points for dodgy dealings.

Spurs to finish first in the league? I'd hazard a guess that the word you're looking for is 'fantasy'. wink
