I was in PB in September and from what I could see the hotel was completed inside but works still going on outside. HTH.

Thank you. It does appear to be progressing quickly but hard to believe that they are going to be ready for guests in less than 3 weeks. Soon find out!

rally of tenerife is on over this weekend. there was a car parade through the streets last night and you can do a pit walk in Santa Cruz if you ask nicely.

I had to "rebook" over the phone this week as the initial payment was rejected. I asked for assurances that the hotel would be ready and the lady said that the hotel have told them they will be . Also worked out fine as there was a Black Friday 15% off deal.

As long as there is a room with a bed, a bar with a drink and a sunbed in the sun, we'll be fine. No doubt there will be some teething issues but we're really looking forward to it.

It used to be one of the best 'major' resorts in the Canaries, without the whole Irish Bar / Football Bar / English-on-tour corruption that tends to afflict a lot of Spanish resorts.

...but that does appear to be changing, as the Canaries are still, on the whole, cheaper than the Med resorts and in the current times people are going where they can afford.

I still think its ok, yes you have Bikers, Harp and Barnies, Anvil but most of it isn't Brits abroad and very few full english places.

I was thinking about the demographic the last time we were there, as much as the # of 'pubs'. Maybe we just got a little unlucky with timing.

I'm just back from Bahaizul Villas near Corralejo in Fuertenventura. Brilliant weather 25-28 degrees all week. Blue skies, hardly any breeze. Brilliant November holiday.

I got back on Saturday after a week there. 26C+ every day, a little cooler in the evenings but very nice. We had a great week and fingers crossed you do too.

We came back last week and it was lovely weather. Forecast remains good and we are off to FV in December as December last year was also hot.
