She sailed through another MOT earlier this week so I rewarded her with some BMR jacking rails.
With the amount of tinkering I’m doing, they’ll provide a solid jacking point anywhere along the sills and as a byproduct will apparently also improve chassis stiffness. Win win:
The only thing to note with installation is that the longer 'drivers side' rail is actually the passenger side for UK / RHD cars!

Today was finally the day that I tacked the camber plates.
Starting with this:
The only minor struggle was with the strut bolts which needed a good whack:
Before drilling out the strut towers to allow access to the adjusters:
To end up with this:
A shakedown and road test will have to wait till later this week… then I’ll need to find a decent geometry specialist near me to get it all setup!

Nice, looks like a tidy job! Starting with this:

I took the car down to Regal Autosport for the alignment
Steeda recommend the follow geo settings:
Street Front alignment:
Camber = -1.2 deg
Caster = 7.5 deg
Toe = 0.2 deg
Street Rear Alignment:
Camber = -1.6 deg
Toe = 0.2 deg
Steeda suggest -1.7 deg on the front for track work
After a chat with the guys there, we decided to go for -1.5 def camber on the front for a slightly more aggressive setup without compromising tyre wear or handling.
The new roller bearings appear to have fixed the occasional clunk (worn top mounts) and the cars feels nicely balanced. Result.

Less than 5 miles from me if you're at Regal today!
I just had KW Clubsport V3 coilovers fitted to my 19 plate GT last week. Lots of shiny purple and yellow although you can only see the camber plates to know!
Still got 500 miles or so to bed in before realignment (and probably raised slightly - 21mm drop is a bit too much for my current use!)

Oh nice, in hindsight I regret not going for the V3’s when I first purchased the car.. and needed to replace the rear dampers. The Pedders are fine but I have no doubt that the KW’s are a league above!I just had KW Clubsport V3 coilovers fitted to my 19 plate GT last week. How are you finding them?

It's given the car really good feedback and the car feels much more planted and controllable. Before the car would go sideways far too easily and as fun as that is it wasn' confidence inspiring! All changed now!
I'm still only 150 miles in and need to take it back to hendy performance after 500 miles to get things adjusted back up. I plan to have it raised by 10mm as despite my request they went and dropped it 21mm and I'm starting to struggle over the bigger speedbumps even at a snails pace!
