Feeling quite bouyant following the purchase of the rake, we've been to look at an F Type R coupe.
People keep saying "mid life crisis", I would say:
a. It's not mid life at all, unless I'm going to Keep Buggering On until I'm a hundred and twenty or thereabouts.
b. I'm not having a crisis of any description.
I don't bloody well know. I'd just like a nice car.
A friend recently bought one, v8 of course, sounds lovely.Feeling quite bouyant following the purchase of the rake, we've been to look at an F Type R coupe.

Sod all boot space, so don't plan to go away in it unless you're happy with a tshirt, socks and clean underwear only
Does it still have the design where you lift the bonnet and it looks like the jaguar badge?
I didn't think the boot space looked too bad (being the coupé version), having travelled around a fair bit over the years I'm very much in the "spare pair of grundies and a credit card" camp.
Futtette tends to travel fairly light too, thank the Lord.
I did have a quick shufti under the bonnet, I must admit I didn't notice the resemblance with the Jaguar badge? Probably wasn't looking hard enough.
Anyhow, it's on the short list. Futtette's been on the short list for a good while now (most of her life, in fact) and she's holding up well

Mrs Robbo has just shown me some photos that people in Marple ( 3 miles away ) have just been posting on the local Facebook page.
Brilliant hues of purple and green in the northern night sky.
We can't see anything from our garden due to the light pollution and a bloody great tree blotting out most of the northern sky.
But at least we've been blessed with a beautiful day.

Well that was a wonderful display that the Northern Lights put on last night and well into this morning. It could be seen across the whole of the UK as it had an intensity score of 8. A major solar expulsion and will continue into tonight.
Here’s your daily reminder.
And this is where we are staying just west of Callandar, lit up by the green hues of the lights just past midnight.

Morneve All
I’ll have to keep my eyes open tonight. I’ve always wanted to see the aurora (an actual bucket list item for me); I hope the forecasted cloud fails to occur!
